IOWA® Y34 Hydrant

IOWA® hydrants are used for irrigation purposes like filling field spray equipment, cleaning tools and equipment, livestock watering, and lawn and garden care. Some features of IOWA® hydrants are:
  • Orange color
  • Adjustable link provides easy and positive adjustment of the lever lock tension
  • Rod guide eliminates side pull on rod, which helps reduce the wear on the packing, packing nut, and the stem
  • Long-life packing includes Teflon-impregnated packing in deep chamber with adjustable packing nut
  • One piece variable-flow plunger and the large cushion-type seal is not easily damaged and assures shut-off even when foreign particles are present
  • Through the automatic drain feature, the plunger opens the drain to prevent freezing and stops any flow to prevent wastage of water
  • Flow finder and lock automatically sets the same flow each time or locks against accidental opening
  • Immediate flow even in sub-zero temperatures

Thermaline® Hydrant

The Woodford Thermaline® is a compact unit designed to provide water service to mobile homes. It is the best solution when you need freezeless sanitary tight line installed, like livestock watering. Some features of Woodford Thermaline® are:
  • It's protected from freezing by a bonded polyurethane foam insulation permanently molded in high-strength plastic casing, and a 15-watt (110-120V) portable insert heater, which costs about a penny a day to operate even at 50° below zero
  • Heater can be inserted and removed from the Thermaline® without interrupting the water service
  • Galvanized iron riser pipe with coal-tar coating on lower end, brass fittings, structural foam protective surface cover, and extra-large cushion valve all combine to make the Thermaline® water connector virtually maintenance free
  • When not in use, wheel handle at surface level shuts off water below frost line, and above, the frost line can be removed completely with forced air or suction pump
